Located just across from Wat Phra That Hariphunchai, “Kuaitiao Moo Toon Lamyai” is only a short walk over the Khuamung Tha Sing Bridge. The restaurant’s signature dish is braised pork noodle soup with dried longan. What makes it special is the broth — a unique recipe that simmers dried longan, pork, and Chinese herbs for over two hours. The result is a naturally sweet and aromatic soup. The pork is simmered until perfectly tender and served with pieces of longan in the bowl. You can enjoy it with your preferred noodles—thin rice noodles, small noodles, wide noodles, or egg noodles. Another must-try is the traditional-style “Kuaitiao Song Khrueang Boran,” — a rich, semi-dry noodle packed with toppings like braised pork with longan, pork blood cubes, long beans, shredded mango, and ground peanuts. It is pre-seasoned, so just give it a good mix before eating to enjoy the nutty richness of peanuts, the sweetness of longan broth, and the tanginess of shredded mango in every bite.
