Wat Chamthewi

Wat Chamthewi, also known as Wat Kukut, is an ancient temple that has been part of the city of Lamphun for over 1,000 years. It is famous for its square-based chedi, one of the earliest examples of Lanna architecture. Inside the chedi, visitors can see Buddha relics, a bronze Buddha image, and Queen Chamathewi’s divination arrow.
